A flyer I created for “ABrief Space”, an art exhibition held at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole from the 13th - 15th of September. It featured a number of contemporary artists and is the first of many exhibitions by the ABrief Gallery founded by artists Archie Bell and Fiona Strimer.
More information about the event can be found here:

Tonight I went to see this band play like their 3rd or 4th gig, they’re called Birdskulls and are from Exeter/Brighton/Bournemouth….however that works. I think all of their gigs so far have been in Exeter but they’re soon to play in Brighton with other AIH affiliates including King of Cats, Tyrannosaurus Dead and The Hundredth Anniversary.
I think it’s been almost 2 years since I went to see New Years Evil for the first time at Exeter Cavern. With NYE’s absence Birdskull’s have taken on the mantle of noisy Exeter band influenced by Dinosaur Jr. and similar to their forefathers have pop hooks in all the right places. We haven’t asked them yet, but hopefully there will be a pizza club coming soon, in the meantime there’s 3 songs up for free download on their SoundCloud.
